Goa With Taj Tour Day 1: Goa

Arrival at Goa and later transfer to the hotel.
Goa- Popularly known as the pearl of east famous for its Gothic Churches, age old ruins, palm fringed beaches, coconut groves, ferry rides and bubbly folk music. A perfect heaven for being together and relax.
Overnight at hotel.

Day 2: Goa

With a beautiful morning, visit the ‘Jewel of India’ Goa. You can visit the gothic churches, crumbling forts, temples, beaches, coconut groves and villages.
Panaji- The capital of Goa, and was called Panjim during the rein of Portuguese. It is one of the India’s smallest and most charming state capital.

Vasco da Gama- The town was originally called Sambhaji. This well planned coastal town is the oldest railway terminus.

Margao- Goa’s second largest city and commercial metropolis of South Goa. It is famous for its ancient cultural heritage and traditional customs of the people of Goa.

Ponda- This town is the heart of Hinduism in Goa. For when the Hindus abandoned their coastal settlements and moved inland during the Inquisition, a majority of them settled in Ponda. Ponda is now a transportation hub and some of the best temples in Goa are located here.

In the evening you can walk around a beach and relax.

Day 3: Goa

Get ready to visit the most famous attractions of Goa.
Beaches- Goa is famous for its lovely golden beaches. The beaches here have been accepted as a matter of life, the exotic cuisine backing the pleasure of have on sun and sand, water sports like water scooters and water gliding, a glass of fenny and beer, shopping on the beachside, and most romantic midnight bonfire on the beach. Enjoy on the beach at sunset, meditate and feel relaxed.
Most popular beaches here are: Agonda beach, Anjuna beach, Benaulim beach, Calangule &Baga beach, Cauclossim beach, Colva beach, Dana Paula beach, Mabor beach, Palolem beach, Vagator Beach, and Varca beach.

Churches- The most famous churches in Goa that attract large number of visitors are Goa Basilica of Bom Jesus which is a world heritage monument and Goa Se Cathedral which is dedicated to St. Catherine. The other important churches are the Church of St Francis of Assini, Church of Lady of Rosary, Church of St Cajatan and The Rochal Seminary.

Temples- The main Hindu pilgrimage spots are Noroa River, the Arvalem Waterfall, and the Brahma Camandolu or Water Pot of Brahma - the creator, Siddhanath Mountain in Borim Village

Goa-Delhi Day 4: Goa

Today take your own time, relax on the beaches, and enjoy water sports. Go out for shopping; buy the souvenir of this magnificent land as a memorable sojourn. The most popular of the souvenir items are the excellent local handicraft items. The handicrafts items include brassware, terracotta, shell work, crochet, carved furniture, bamboo work, papier-mâché, etc
The famed cashew nuts of Goa is another most wanted items of the tourists. The nuts are available in a wide variety of tastes ranging from plain, salted and masala. The prices vary based on the quality and flavor.
For the fashion lovers Goa has many fashion shops, located in fabulous old Goan houses. These shops make the best selections in home styling and fashion available to the tourists at quite reasonable prices.

Day 5: Goa-Delhi

Catch a flight this morning to Delhi. Later transfer to the hotel. Later in the evening you can visit the colorful bazaars and go for shopping.

Day 6: Delhi

Next morning full day sight seeing of Delhi.
Delhi - The capital of India. Visit the Laxmi Narayan Mandir, and the Bahai Temple, also known as the Lotus Temple. Raj Ghat the cremation site of Mahatama Gandhi, Father Of India. Later enjoy Red Fort and Jama Masjid in the Old Delhi. Go on shopping to the crowded streets of the markets of Chandni Chowk Bazaar. In the evening, you can visit Dilli Haat, best place to look at Indian handicrafts and drive over the Rajpath, India Gate. You can see the President's House from outside and visit the 16th century Humayun's Tomb, Safdarjung's Tomb and Qutub Minar.

Day 7: Delhi-Agra

Early morning drive to Agra.
Agra – India’s foremost tourist’s attraction, the city of Taj, the white marble requiem of love. Besides the majestic buildings, the leatherwork and the marble-inlay work of Agra are an inseparable part of the city's identity. Agra Fort and Itmad-ud-daulah's tomb are the legendary gems of Mughal architectural style along with the nearby excursions of Fatehpur Sikri and Sikandra that are not worth missing.

Agra Jaipur Day 8: Agra-Jaipur

Drive to the Pink city Jaipur enroute visiting Fathepur Sikri. Transfer to the hotel. Day to relax.
Later in the evening you can go for a dinner at Chowki Dhani where you can enjoy the Rajasthani folk dance, and a view of a typical Indian village.
Overnight at hotel.

Day 9: Jaipur

Full day city tour visiting the City Palace and the Palace Museum. Walk to the adjacent Jantar Mantar built in the 17th century and drive past the Hawa Mahal. Later you can visit the Amber Fort- built in the early 18th century and a fascinating insight into the life-style of the Mughal ruling families. Later go on for shopping for carpets and jewellery.
Later in the evening or early morning drive back to Delhi to catch your flight towards onward destination.
