![]() Shiva, in the form of a lingam, is formed naturally of an ice – stalagmite. One of the holy trinity, Shiva is a living god. The most ancient and sacred book of India, the Rig Veda evokes his presence in its hymns. Vedic myths, ritual and even astronomy testify to his existence from the dawn of time. Yatra to Baba Amarnath Holy Cave for which one has to trek a height of about 14,500 ft is full of thrill and joy .The feeling of divine which is always beneath ones' heart , burst out and one realizes ‘Moksha’ as one attends the Cave and perform the prayer before the Shivlinga . Surrounded by beautiful valleys, mountains, one will always feel. His presence on the paradise of the earth, the memory of which hardly vanishes with time. A journey which will rediscover the nature and its love which is always inside but one has never felt. Destinations: Srinagar-Baltal-Amarnath Yatra-Srinagar Duration:04 Nights / 05 Days Day 01: Srinagar-Baltal (120 kms/4 hrs) Arrival at Srinagar, and later travel to Baltal via Sonamarg. Rest of the day free at Baltal for acclimatization and prepare for next day’s trek to Amarnath Cave. Overnight in tents at Baltal. Day 02: Baltal-Amarnath Cave-Baltal After very early breakfast trek upwards to Amarnath cave for darshan. The route is ascending right upto the cave. Have a dip in the ice water of Amarnath stream, which floes outside the cave. Inside the cave there is scenery of calm tranquility of white and glistering three massive Lingams stand erect symbol of Lord Shiva, Parvathi and Ganesh. After darshan return back to Baltal. Dinner Overnight in tents at Baltal. Day 03: Baltal-Srinagar Today travel back to Srinagar. Day free for leisure. Overnight at hotel. ![]() Day 04: Srinagar Morning sightseeing of Mughal Gardens visiting Nishat Bagh (Abode of pleasure) built by Asif Khan brother in law of Jehangir in 1632 AD. And Shalimar Bagh (Abode of love) built by Jehangir for his wife Empress Noor Jehan. All the gardens are situated on the bank of Dal Lake with the Zabarwan Mountains in the background. The distance from Srinagar to the said gardens is about 12 and 15 kms respectively. Enroute visit carpet-weaving factory and visit Sharankacharya Temple. After lunch Shikara ride on Dal Lake visiting floating and vegetable gardens etc. Also witness walnut woodcarving and papier machie making demonstration. Overnight at hotel. Day 05: Srinagar-Jammu or Delhi YAtrA ENDS
