OVERVIEW: Trivandrum International Airport is one of the India’s busiest airports. It is the principle airport for passengers flying to Kerala, although it also serves as a transit point for flights destined to Sri Lanka, the Middle East and the Maldives.
LOCATION: Approx 6 kilometers from Thiruvananthapuram
TERMINAL: Trivandrum International Airport currently operates three terminals. Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 handles all domestic flight operations. Terminal 3 handles international flight operations.
PARKING: Parking is available at the airport; long term parking is also available.
MAJOR ROUTES: Trivandrum International airport has direct flights from the Indian metros of Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai and Bangalore. It has more international flights than domestic flights. Most of the international flights are from the Middle East cities of Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, Doha, Kuwait, Bahrain, Muscat, Salalah, Dammam and Riyadh. Other countries included Maldives, Colombo in Sri Lanka and Singapore.
